About The Artist

Ten years ago, I was living with my family on a farm in Central Florida. I was not a believer and spent many hours searching for answers to metaphysical questions. A neighbor named Karen often rode her horse down our street and continuously would invite me to church. I always declined—until one day I didn’t. I went with her to a church called Waterstone, which at the time held services in the cafeteria of a nearby elementary school. I was hesitant, leery, and unsure as I listened to the pastor. Then it happened: I heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly for the first time. I was overcome with tears and sat motionless. I chalked it up to a one-time experience but returned the next week to see if it happened again. It did. When the pastor preached the Gospel again, I fell to my knees weeping and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Soon after, I was baptized into the family of God, and the work of sanctification began. I have always been an artist. After graduating from two art schools, my work mirrored my life, unfocused and, in retrospect, often without clear purpose. Since becoming a Christian, I pray before I begin each piece, asking the Holy Spirit to guide me. He does. At times, I step back from a finished work and can hardly explain how it came together. God works through us when we allow Him. My prayer is that you see in these pieces something that speaks to you—something that calls you by name. If a work resonates and you would like to acquire it, please contact me.
